Online gaming options shouldn't just consist of mindless garbage that makes you stupid;
Just because you have time doesn't mean you should kill it;
Take everything in moderation;
Learn something.
These selected games, while fun, can also serve to teach. Games are actually only fun because you're learning- the unfortunate thing is that most games have you learn how to aim and fire rather than something useful. Generally, educational games are simple enough that they lose your interest after whatever period it takes for you to take from them what you can, meaning that you you lose interest when it no longer teaches you (which we actually think is a good thing). Most other gaming options, quite sadly, tend to be geared towards addicting people beyond whatever usefulness they may have. Even the best of entertainment, however, can still be ruinous if dealt with out of moderation.
